As an international flight attendant, Lisa became interested in wine while travelling the world for work. Lisa studied wine on her own for over 20 years, but only recently discovered WSET and began studying for certifications.

In only five years, Lisa has worked her way through Levels 2-4 of WSET and is a Certified Specialist of Wine with the Society of Wine Educators. Lisa also holds a Diploma in Rioja Wine Tourism from the Rioja Wine Academy and holds advanced certifications in Port and Sherry.

Lisa received her bachelor’s degree in communication arts with minors in German and Business Administration, from Cedarville University in Ohio. Lisa is the owner of Wine Around the World, a wine education company located in central Pennsylvania. Lisa offers WSET Levels 1 and 2 in Lancaster, Harrisburg, and York.

Lisa has four adult sons and lives with her husband and two dogs. Lisa’s hobbies are all about wine…she spends her free time working in her small vineyard, shopping to fill her wine cellar and travelling to wine regions around the world.
